Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the fit person shall apply to the State Commission for Women in Form VIII for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees, and the State Commission for Women shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
