Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any keeper of a place of public resort dies, his legal representative shall, within thirty days of the death, intimate the death to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate in Form VIII, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every licence then held; and the Sub-Divisional Magistrate shall enter the intimation in the register within fourteen days of its receipt.
