Application for registration.—Every micro-insurance agent carrying on the distribution of micro-insurance products shall make an application for registration to the Authority in Form IRDA-5, within forty-five days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees and a statement of every register of policies held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for sixty days from that date.
