Surrender of certificate.—Every insurer who ceases to carry on the carrying on of insurance business shall, within seven days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Insurance Ombudsman in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form IRDA-7 of the manner in which every nomination held by him has been disposed of.
