Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the keeper of a departmental library shall apply to the Director General of Archives in Form 5 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the Director General of Archives shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within twenty-one days of the application.
