Application for registration.—Every person holding foreign assets carrying on the holding of assets outside India shall make an application for registration to the Commissioner in Form 10, within twenty-one days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees and a statement of every challan held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for twenty-one days from that date.
