Surrender of certificate.—Every lessee of defence land who ceases to carry on the holding of defence land on lease shall, within forty-five days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Commanding Officer of the Unit in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form D of the manner in which every identity card held by him has been disposed of.
