Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the occupier of land used for manoeuvres shall apply to the Director-General in Form D for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees, and the Director-General shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within three days of the application.
