Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the retirement adviser shall apply to the Recovery Officer in Form 11 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the Recovery Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
