Application for registration.—Every foreign company carrying on the carrying on of business in India by a foreign company shall make an application for registration to the Registrar of Companies in Form CHG-1, within seven days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees and a statement of every statement of affairs held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for one hundred and twenty days from that date.
