Application for registration.—Every insurance marketing firm carrying on the marketing of insurance products shall make an application for registration to the Council of Insurers in Form IRDA-2, within sixty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of one lakh rupees and a statement of every statement of claims held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for thirty days from that date.
