Surrender of certificate.—Every sharecropper who ceases to carry on the cultivation of land as a sharecropper shall, within one hundred and eighty days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Revenue Divisional Officer in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form 8 of the manner in which every register of holdings held by him has been disposed of.
