Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the valuer appointed by the court shall apply to the Registrar General in Form H for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees, and the Registrar General shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
