Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any registered office keeper dies, his legal representative shall, within one hundred and twenty days of the death, intimate the death to the Government of Punjab in Form MGT-7, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every books of account then held; and the Government of Punjab shall enter the intimation in the register within one hundred and eighty days of its receipt.
