Clause 2, Puducherry Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) (Khasra Control) Order, 2014 [SBK-41D]

Definitions.—In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Puducherry Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) Act, 1973 (Puducherry Act 9 of 1973); (b) "lessee of Government land" means a person carrying on the holding of Government land on lease; (c) "certificate of occupancy" means a certificate of occupancy received, held or disposed of by a lessee of Government land in the course of the holding of Government land on lease; (d) "Form 7" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
