Surrender of certificate.—Every pilot of a port who ceases to carry on the pilotage of vessels shall, within forty-five days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Registrar of Ships in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form 3 of the manner in which every register of vessels held by him has been disposed of.
