Application for registration.—Every lessee of Government land carrying on the holding of Government land on lease shall make an application for registration to the Collector in Form 8, within forty-five days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees and a statement of every mutation held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for ninety days from that date.
