Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the keeper of a village shop shall apply to the Panchayat Samiti in Form 2 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees, and the Panchayat Samiti shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
