Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the operator of a critical information infrastructure shall apply to the Controller in Form D for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one lakh rupees, and the Controller shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
