Surrender of certificate.—Every owner of a contract carriage who ceases to carry on the plying of a contract carriage shall, within ninety days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Government of Maharashtra in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form 38 of the manner in which every toll held by him has been disposed of.
