Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the fit person shall apply to the Local Complaints Committee in Form I for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees, and the Local Complaints Committee shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
