Surrender of certificate.—Every public authority who ceases to carry on the holding of information shall, within one hundred and twenty days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Central Information Commission in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form D of the manner in which every register of requests held by him has been disposed of.
