Surrender of certificate.—Every proprietor of a lodging house who ceases to carry on the keeping of a lodging house shall, within seven days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Superintendent of Police in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form IV of the manner in which every weapon held by him has been disposed of.
