Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the employer of inter-State migrant workmen shall apply to the Labour Commissioner in Form VIII for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees, and the Labour Commissioner shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
