Clause 2, Essential Commodities (Stock of foodgrains Control) Order, 2009 [SBA-5TC]

Definitions.—In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955); (b) "petty food manufacturer" means a person carrying on the manufacture of food on a petty scale; (c) "licence" means a licence received, held or disposed of by a petty food manufacturer in the course of the manufacture of food on a petty scale; (d) "Form D" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
