Application for registration.—Every user of a weighing instrument carrying on the use of a weighing instrument in trade shall make an application for registration to the Director of Legal Metrology in Form G, within sixty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees and a statement of every declaration held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for seven days from that date.
