Correction of entries.—The Registrar of Marriages may, on an application made in Form IV by any registrar of births and deaths or of its own motion, correct any clerical or arithmetical error in the register or in a certificate of registration, after giving notice of not less than sixty days to any person likely to be affected by the correction.
