Application for registration.—Every registrar of births and deaths carrying on the registration of births and deaths shall make an application for registration to the Registrar of Marriages in Form III, within seven days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees and a statement of every marriage register held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for fourteen days from that date.
