Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the occupier shall apply to the Estate Officer in Form 5 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees, and the Estate Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and eighty days of the application.
