Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the operator of a vehicle carrying hazardous substances shall apply to the Biodiversity Authority in Form VII for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees, and the Biodiversity Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and twenty days of the application.
