Surrender of certificate.—Every owner of land within a cantonment who ceases to carry on the construction of buildings in a cantonment shall, within three days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Director-General in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form G of the manner in which every lease deed held by him has been disposed of.
