Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the manufacturer of voting machines shall apply to the Electoral Registration Officer in Form 6 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees, and the Electoral Registration Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within three days of the application.
