Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the recruitment and placement agency for seafarers shall apply to the Director-General in Form 7 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees, and the Director-General shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ninety days of the application.
