Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the keeper of a commercial establishment shall apply to the Labour Commissioner in Form IV for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees, and the Labour Commissioner shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
