Surrender of certificate.—Every occupant who ceases to carry on the occupation of land shall, within thirty days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Settlement Officer in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form 12 of the manner in which every parcel of land held by him has been disposed of.
