Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the clearing and forwarding agent shall apply to the Registrar of Warehouses in Form E for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees, and the Registrar of Warehouses shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fourteen days of the application.
