Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the guarantee holder shall apply to the Comptroller and Auditor-General in Form GFR 12-C for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees, and the Comptroller and Auditor-General shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
