Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the performer shall apply to the Plant Varieties Authority in Form 27 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees, and the Plant Varieties Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ninety days of the application.
