Application for registration.—Every publisher of news on a digital platform carrying on the publication of news on a digital platform shall make an application for registration to the Government of Puducherry in Form III, within twenty-one days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees and a statement of every declaration held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for seven days from that date.
