Rule 2, Puducherry Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 (Licensing) Rules, 2024 [SB0-A0Y]

Definitions.—In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 (67 of 1957); (b) "publisher of news on a digital platform" means a person carrying on the publication of news on a digital platform; (c) "title" means a title received, held or disposed of by a publisher of news on a digital platform in the course of the publication of news on a digital platform; (d) "Form I" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
