Correction of entries.—The Registrar of Marriages may, on an application made in Form VIII by any licensed marriage hall or of its own motion, correct any clerical or arithmetical error in the register or in a certificate of registration, after giving notice of not less than twenty-one days to any person likely to be affected by the correction.
