Application for registration.—Every repairer of weights and measures carrying on the repair of weights and measures shall make an application for registration to the Bureau of Indian Standards in Form E, within twenty-one days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees and a statement of every package held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for forty-five days from that date.
