Safe custody.—Every operator of a passport service centre shall keep every certificate of naturalisation to which these rules apply in a receptacle or place reserved for the purpose at the premises where the running of a passport service centre is carried on, shall record in Form A the description of every certificate of naturalisation so kept and the date on which it was received, and shall furnish a copy of the record to the passport authority within sixty days of the close of each year.
