Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the operator of a ferry shall apply to the District Panchayat in Form 5 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees, and the District Panchayat shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within sixty days of the application.
