Application for registration.—Every operator of a ferry carrying on the operation of a ferry shall make an application for registration to the District Panchayat in Form 4, within fifteen days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees and a statement of every building held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for fifteen days from that date.
