Application for registration.—Every contractor engaged by a Panchayat carrying on the execution of works for a Panchayat shall make an application for registration to the Block Development Officer in Form 4, within thirty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees and a statement of every market held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for seven days from that date.
