Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the data processor shall apply to the Certifying Authority in Form B for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one lakh rupees, and the Certifying Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
