Custody of the register.—The register maintained under these rules shall be kept at the office of the Director General in the custody of the Assistant Development Commissioner, shall be bound and its pages numbered, and shall not be removed from that office except on the written order of the Director General; and where the Assistant Development Commissioner having custody of it is succeeded by another, an entry recording the transfer of custody shall be made in Form SEZ-1 within fifteen days of the succession.
