Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the printer of election material shall apply to the Chief Electoral Officer in Form 2A for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees, and the Chief Electoral Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within three days of the application.
