Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the creditor shall apply to the Government of Gujarat in Form INC-22 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees, and the Government of Gujarat shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
